Shashi is a customer-obsessed and creative problem solver. He has incubated and built startups and technology businesses. He has cross-industry experience including hi-tech, retail, edTech, health care, life sciences, biotech, medical devices and pharma. Shashi is passionate about using technology to build products that make an impact on society. He has advised and been part of endeavors to build products to address various neurological conditions like Autism (Kinect based game for at-home therapy), Aphasia (mobile app to help with communication) and Alzheimer's (wearable device for reminders and connectivity to loved ones). He is passionate about customer success and building long term relations with customers.

Lex Van Der Ploeg is a successful entrepreneur, contributing to the development of therapeutics and successful M&A transactions. Lex was instrumental in the development of the drug Setmelanotide at Rhythm (IPO in 2017) and Relamorelin at Motus, which was sold to Allergan in 2016. Lex supported the sale of Deuteria to Celgene (2012) and development of DRX-065 at DeuteRx, sold to Poxel in 2018. Lex was the Sr. Vice President of Integrative Medicine and Translational Science at Abraxis Bioscience (2009-2011), acquired by Celgene in 2010. During his tenure at Merck, Lex established and grew the Merck Boston Research laboratories to over 300 scientists, in oncology and neuroscience. Before joining industry, Lex was a tenured faculty member at Columbia University. Lex received numerous awards and grants, authored over 250 peer reviewed publications and is an inventor on over 70 patents/patent applications.
